Mitchell reported to the officer later that evening that he had remembered leaving the bar, getting into his car, and making his way on to the New York State freeway to head back to Connecticut. The rest he can’t remember. Cops later clocked him doing 110 mph while straddling the center line. His sobriety test left no doubt he was intoxicated after he blew a .21 which was nearly enough alcohol in his system to kill him. The police charged him with several moving violations including driving under the influence, and Mitchell now anxiously awaits his impending trial.

Shannon’s troubles had been going on too long. The final straw came tonight when her husband had to pick her up at 3 A.M. from the police station. A police report stated that her 1987 Buick has been driving erratically. When detained and booked she blew a .16 on the breathalyzer, twice the legal limit allowable in Massachusetts. Sadly her night would end without a solution to her drunk driving.

Every time an individual uses his Social Security number (SSN) for something, it opens up the possibility that an identity thief will access it. From there, the thief will use it to open new credit in that person’s name and to get more bits of private data about him or her.

The first of over ten thousand lawsuits against the Johnson & Johnson unit DePuy has come to a verdict. A jury in California Superior Court, based in Los Angeles, has awarded $8.3 million in compensatory damages to Loren “Bill” Kransky, a retired prison guard from Montana. The jury concluded that the design of the DePuy ASR Xl metal-on-metal hip replacement caused his injuries but that DePuy properly warned of the risks and didn’t owe additional punitive damages. Johnson & Johnson, largest seller of health care products on earth, recalled 93,000 of the defective implants in August of 2010.

There have been a few close calls over the years. One time Joe had left his wallet on the table at T.G.I. Fridays and driven all the way home. Luckily the people there knew him well and honestly returned it intact. Another time he left it on his car roof as he pumped gas at the local Shell station only to have it mailed to him by a good Samaritan who found it on the roadside. Joe needs to be far more responsible with his personal information otherwise he will become the next victim of identity theft.

GRP Rainer Lawyers Tax Advisors, Cologne, Berlin, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Hanover, Bremen, Nuremberg, Essen and London www.grprainer.com/en explain: In its judgment of 24 January 2013 (Az.: 2 AZR 140/12), the Federal Labour Court (BAG) decided that posted temporary workers can be relevant for the application of the KSchG, if they work for the company because they cover a “generally” existing demand for staff. It therefore makes no difference when calculating the size of the business in terms of the KSchG whether the employee is the company’s own employee or a borrowed employee, especially since the staff costs are the same. The crucial factor is likely that the temporary workers are engaged in a business in the same way as the regular employees.

Despite all of their eye-rolling, deep sighing, rebellious behavior, teens still look to their parents as role models. That’s why parents are such a big part of how to prevent underage drinking. Teens watch what the adults in their lives do regularly, including the way they deal with alcohol. If kids see their parents having an alcoholic beverage or two and then going to soda or juice, this is what they’ll do later on. Parents who communicate with their teens about alcohol consumption and the results of it tend to have kids who respect what beer, etc, can do and stay away from it.

Nobody gets through a divorce for free, but divorce lawyers for low income people can petition the court for a waiver of court fees. This can save hundreds of dollars and make obtaining a divorce much less costly. A person can look online to see if the family court in his area publishes the forms needed to request a waiver, or he can send the appeal for them through his attorney.

Divorce is emotionally, physically, and spiritually taxing. Some great divorce advice for women is to be sure to do things that encourage positive feelings. Take a long soak in a warm bubble bath or go for a quiet stroll with the family dog. Join a spa that offers yoga or other relaxation classes. Get regular exercise and eat a healthy diet full of fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Take a self-defense class in which yelling is greatly encouraged; it’s amazing how much shouting loudly can relieve stress.
